Memorial Services for Mr. Christopher “Scooter” Jones, of Decatur, GA., will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, 182 Hunter St., Norcross, GA. Dr. William L. Sheals, Pastor, Officiating.
“Scooter” was preceded in death by niece, Miss Shelby Synclair Rooks. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Geri Jones; sister, Shaqueta Amos (Ryan); grandmother, Audrey Tate, of Mobile, AL.; aunt, Latricia “Mona” Tate, of Mobile, AL.; uncle, Karlton Tate, of Mobile, AL.; great aunt, Brenda Hammonds, of Lawrenceville, GA.; Sabrina Garror (Lavelle), of Lawrenceville, GA.; and a host aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 10:00 A.M.

Scooter, You are the best son that a mother could have ever asked for. I never imagined losing you so suddenly. I miss our Friday night dinners together and our fishing trips to Dauphin Island.
