Chandra and Darlene, there are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing a parent, but please know I'm holding you in my heart. I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you shared with your father.
Wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead❤️
One of my fondest memories was going out on visitation with Daniel while at Open Bible Baptist Church in Valdosta. We also supported Military services on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. It is very fitting that his service ended on Memorial Day. To a very good man, with my deepest sympathy from our family to yours.
The Final Hail and Farewell By MSgt (Ret) William "Bill" Cordes
Attention to orders I thought I heard someone say
To welcome this veteran Who has joined us today
Row upon row of stones stand tall
Marking earlier members Who had answered the call
On farms and in cities They grew up fit
They had a job to do And they did it
The silence was broken As the procession went by
Stopping in place Where the hero will lie
The flag was folded And I felt a great pride
Believing those here Welcomed another to their side
Unknowns will thank you And I pray you were blessed
Now join fellow warriors Who have gave us their best
And oh the stories They will tell
There at your final Hail and Farewell
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Oh, what a wonderful man! Years ago, my husband and I met sweet Daniel, as he was a faithful worshipper at Wednesday night Prayer Meetings in the Chapel. He was always so kind and filled with humility. I will cherish his warm handshake and sweet caring smile. Written with love.
I am praying for you and your family as you grieve the loss of Daniel and celebrate his life. Praying for peace and comfort and joy that comes in the morning! I knew him from afar as I sang in the choir at Ingleside Baptist. I have watched him worship with our friend Merlaine over the years. He was a faithful worshipper.
Blessings, Cindy Wilson
