Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Derricor Jaquan Jenkins, of Decatur will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at The Donald Trimble Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Bernard Sutton, Officiating. Public viewing will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2021, from 12:00 Noon - 8:00 P.M., at the mortuary.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Shaneca Jenkins; father, Derricor Humphrey; siblings: brother, Jamel Lloyd, brother, Tye Lloyd, sisters, Tamaya Ballard, Derrisha Bailey, Janiyah Humphrey, brother, Malik Humphrey; grandmother, Deborah Dyer; grandfather, Reginald Humphrey; great grandmother, Mary Humphrey; aunt, Letasha Jenkins; uncle, Wayne Jenkins (Shermika); cousins, KeAndrea, Ajah and Stormee Jenkins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary at 12:30 P.M. Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Ave. Decatur, GA 30032.

Dearest Shaneca and your Family, We all know no child should leave this earthly life before the mother or father! It is not the rightful order of things that we believe should happen. I love that DJ's service was a 'celebration" of his life since we never know why God calls anyone Home at any particular time. We getmto say Thank You God for time we did have with him. DJ's shock passing sent a strong reminder to all of us that every hour is valuable because we never know if it is the last for others and ourselves. The service was a beautiful tribute to DJ! Shaneca, you know I ever met hm personally but the love and pride you express when you talk of your children makes me feel like I knew DJ. I wish you and your family the focus to continue to "celebrate" his life all the time. After all DJ is still here, just in a different form! Talk to him, and especially keep talking about the good times with him, and often. That focus will heal that heavy pain of his disappearance so much faster. It is so hard to let go of one so young, but we must accept what God allows! He had a beautiful smile remember that SMILE!
