Dr West, you were my first psychology professor. You believed in me and inspired me- a troubled high school dropout, turned psychologist. You put me on the road from GED to Ph.D. I have thought about you so many times. I wish I could thank you in person. You made a difference. You changed my life along with countless others.I am forever grateful. Godspeed.

Dr. West was my psychology teacher. Not only did I enjoy his teaching but I enjoyed his conversation. I really liked Dr. West and would have loved to see him again. He was kind, intelligent, and knowledgeable! He will be missed
I met Dr. West while we were both undergoing treatment for cancer at Emory. We quickly learned we were both part of the Auburn University family. He working on his PhD. when I was working on my undergraduate degree. We also shared experience in real estate later in our careers. I am proud to have known this delightful, wonderful man. He was a gallant cancer warrior, but more importantly, he was a kind, intelligent, giving, sharing individual in life. I will always remember him. God Bless You! ... Mark Slaughter
Dr. West was one of the finest men I knew. He was a man of God and there is no doubt in my mind where he is today. Rest In Peace Dr. West you have been missed and will continue to be.
