Funeral Services for Mrs. Gertrude Barnett, of Decatur, GA., will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, 12:00 NOON at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Reverend Brian Webb, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. A Visitation will be held at the mortuary Sunday, 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Mrs. Barnett leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Caroline Saffo, Evelyn Long, Shelia Pettigrew; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, her 2 siblings, Lyn Atkinson, Peter Melton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Columbia Senior Residence Monday, at 11:00 A.M.
