Homegoing Services for Mrs. Gladys Mae Mitchell, will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Avenue, Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Senior Pastor, Reverend Richard Flippin, Officiating. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a very loving and devoted stepmother, Ardonia Vinson; her loving children, Sandra (Ricky) Harvey of Macon, Georgia, Darin Mitchell Sr., Angela (Brian) Davis, Adrienne (Elliott) Benton, and Alan Mitchell, all of Atlanta, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; Nicole (Chris) Nash of Macon, Georgia, Renae Harvey of Macon, Georgia, Mandale (Anita) Mitchell, Brandon (Chassity) Mitchell, Darin (Sonjia) Mitchell Jr., Marcus (Michele) Mitchell, Shree (Marquis) Bracey, Elise (Gabriel) Chavez, Kiera (Charles) Rudolph, Felicia Jenkins, Shanterri Benton, Jasmine Benton, Devin Benton, and Aisha Marsh; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Allen and Betty Walker of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Claudette Field of Atlanta, Georgia, and Ann McCrorey of Macon, Georgia; two brothers-in-law, Lamar Allen of Atlanta, Georgia, and Napoleon Starke of Macon, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
