On Thursday April 16th, 2020 the Gresham family celebrates the life and homecoming of Gregory Gresham, Sr. Peterman, a nickname given to him as a youth, which was quickly adopted by family and close friends. Born to the proud parents of Clarence John Gresham, and Mrs. Helen Louise Gresham, of Marietta, Ga., Peterman attended and graduated from the Georgia School for the Deaf, located in Cave Spring, Georgia. Peterman whose stature harness a great combination of gentleness and strength which was unique among his personality! His uncanny ability to communicate to family and others is something to marvel over. To know him is to love. His infectious smile, contagious laughter, and an alluring soul will be greatly missed. With compassion to animals you find Peterman feeding stray dogs and cats which gave him a sense of consolation. A huge fan of wrestling and the martial arts. His admiration for Bruce Lee was always displayed by a karate chop here and a karate kick there, followed by a karate cry! All in all, he was a carefree spirit, accompanied by a smile whenever anyone seen him. Gregory, the baby of the bunch, is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Clarence John Gresham, his oldest brother, Clarence “Donnie” Gresham, two sisters, Rhonda “Jean” Scott, Varnessa Hawes, two twin brothers, Alfred (Big Boy) Gresham, and Stafford (Lil Bit) Gresham.
