Homegoing Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Daniel Wallace, of Decatur, Georgia will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024,12:00 NOON at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 3796 River Road, Ellenwood, Georgia 30294. Reverend Walter Johnson, Reverend Ulysses Ponder, Officiating, Eulogist. Public Viewing will be held at the mortuary Friday, August 30, 2024, 12:00 NOON until 7:30 P.M.
Mrs. Wallace leaves to cherish her memories, Jerome C. Wallace, Sr (Husband), Darrious Burson (Son), Joseph Pendley (Son), Jerome C. Wallace, Jr (Son), Edward Ingram (father), Sandra Oliver (sister), 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 11:00 A.M.

My deepest condolences to Jerome, Darrious, Joe,JC, San, Edward (Pop)and all of the family. I've known Gwen for over 30 years. We laughed, cried,did business together, shopped, talked about and traded flowers and shared the good and the bad of our lives. Gwen was a be beautiful spirit, she never met a stranger and if you needed something and she couldn't do it, she would find someone who could. Her smile and her stern voice will truly be missed. A spirit that was meant to encounter many. You would've been lucky to meet Gwen and have Gwen care about you. That infectious laugh, her tight hugs, generous spirit, and her direct humor that followed with a sneaky grin. She was a big soul in a little package bigger than life.
