Her love and wisdom and compassion will find expression in all her family and friends. Knowing this, Rel, you are a vessel of all your mother was and taught you. This beautiful humble amazing Woman of God exemplified the Proverbial wife and mother. Her family is still blessed because of her legacy. Her love for GOD, fostered sons with a love for and foundation in GOD. The importance she placed on education created a value for an endless pursuit of learning and education. Her giving to her fellow man fostered the same in her children. It was a pleasure to have spent time in your presence and to have know you. Rest in peace and power. It is well deserved.

Today, we gather to honor the life of Hannah L. Dowdell, a woman whose love and kindness touched the hearts of so many. We know that no words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious, but we also know that her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the countless memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

To my dear friend Rel, I want to remind you that though your mother may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will never fade. She will always be a part of you—guiding you, watching over you, and loving you from beyond. In this difficult time, I hope you find solace in the moments you shared with her, in the strength she instilled in you, and in the love that surrounds you today and always.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life—her warmth, her generosity, and the joy she brought into the world. May you find peace in knowing that her love will forever be with you, and that in time, the pain will soften into cherished memories that will carry you through.

Dear Rel, Phyllis and family you have my Deepest sympathies on the passing of your beautiful Mother. I learned just around this time last year that you can never be prepared to loose your Mother. To Brother Rell, your dad James, comical brother Stefan, and your entire family, please know that Sis. Rivers and I are praying much for you during this season of unbearable and unbelievable loss. There is no love like a mother's love and no pain like losing one's mother. We know your relationship was especially close and we lift you now with the Power of Prayer! I share with you these words which comforted me in the loss of my mother from Jesus in John 14:2-4 MSG 2 There is plenty of room for you in my Father's home. If that weren't so, would I have told you that I'm on my way to get a room ready for you? 3 And if I'm on my way to get your room ready, I'll come back and get you so you can live where I live. Rell, your mother's room was ready!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Ms. Dowdell. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I know how much she meant the world to my dear friend, Rel. His love, care, and admiration for his mother always shone through whenever we spoke. It's clear that she was an incredible woman who touched many lives.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Dowdell family during this difficult time. May her legacy of love, kindness, and strength continue to inspire you, and may your cherished memories bring you peace in the days ahead.
