Obituary For Henrietta Phillips Harper

Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Henrietta Phillips Harper, of Decatur, will be held Monday, February 13, 2023; 10:00 A.M. at The Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church House of Hope Atlanta, 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway Decatur, Georgia 30034. Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr., Pastor and Eulogist and Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Officiant. The remains will be placed in state at 9:00 A.M. Interment Kennedy Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the mortuary from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M.

Her sweet memories will be cherished by her faithful husband of nearly 63 years, Paul Edward Harper, Jr.; three children, Fay Phillips Sharpe, Debora Cabral, and Paul E. Harper, III (Sonya); seven grandchildren, Paul E. Harper, IV (Precious), Michael P. Harper, Antwyne C. Anderson (Tara), Brian K. Cabral, Reginald W. Sharpe, Jr. (Brianna), Brandon W. Sharpe, and Megan P. Harper; bonus granddaughter, A'yanna Kelly; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Sarah Mae Davis, George Phillips, Jr. (Vivian), Melvin Phillips (Sharon), Annie P. Jackson, Robert Phillips (Lisa), Vernon Phillips (Mae France), Catherine Phillips, Geraldine P. Scott (Raymond), and Patricia LaCue (Leodis); sister-in-love, Gloria Wright; and a myriad of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family, former co-workers, and friends.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 9:00 A.M.
