Obituary For James E. Cobb (Evans)

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. James Eric Cobb (Evans), of Decatur, will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Bishop J.D. Means, Officiating, Eulogist. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Friday, October 2, 2026, 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Eric, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Muscle Head," will be lovingly remembered for his fun-loving personality, unforgettable sense of humor, and special way of bringing laughter and joy wherever he went. His presence could brighten any room, and those who knew and loved him will forever cherish his laughter, his personality, and the many memories they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rhonda Faye; his mother, Annie Ruth; his father, Harry Evans; and his sister, Francine (Evans) Cobb.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Keisha, Jameric, Darius, and Corey; a host of beloved grandchildren; his siblings, Dorothy (Von), Darryl, Annette, Cathy, Bernard (Nard), Tammy, and Stanley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although Eric will be deeply missed, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who was blessed to know and love him.
