Altina Wilson sent Deeply Adored for James Solomon Brown - January 13, 2025
Our Hearts go out to the Brown family.May God give you comfort and peace. We are praying for You and Isaac. With Deepest Sympathy, Altina & Shawna Wilson
I met James during our time at Florida State University while we were both pursuing our doctoral degrees. From the beginning, it was clear he was a brilliant Brother, carrying wisdom and insight far beyond his years. We shared many meaningful conversations—about research, life, and the challenges of navigating "the Academy" as young Black men. Through those exchanges, we encouraged and empowered one another. His presence, intellect, and spirit made a lasting impact on me, and I am grateful to have walked part of this journey with him.
Mrs.Annie you and your family as a whole are in my prayers. I pray for strength and I'm sending hugs from a far.
Annie, We are sending heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May the grace of Almighty God keep and sustain you on this most difficult journey. Your classmate Julia Harris-Abrams
