Homegoing Services for Ms. JoAnne Jackson, of Decatur, will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Peace Baptist Church, 4000 Covington Hwy., Decatur, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Tyrone Barnett, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Thursday, 12:00 NOON until 7:30 P.M.
Ms. Jackson leaves to cherish her memories, 2 children, son, Yoma Owens, daughter, Courtney Jackson; 2 grandchildren, Xavier Owens, Yoma Owens, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren, Austin Owens, Brayden Owens; her siblings, Brenda Powell, Cathy Neal, Roy E. Owens, Jr., Gregory Owens; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Friday, at 9:30 A.M.
