He leaves to cherish loving wife, Carolyn L. Thomas; children, John E. Thomas, Jr. (Cathy), Donna M. Robinson, Douglas R. Thomas, Lisa R. Hopkins (Sandy); stepson, William Lane, Jr.; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
