Obituary For Lawrence A. Haralson
Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Andrew Haralson, of Jonesboro, GA., will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, 12:00 NOON at the First Virginia Missionary Baptist Church, 3601 Virginia Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 NOON.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Minister Warren Hamilton, Officiating, Eulogist.
Mr. Haralson leaves to cherish, loving wife, Rosalind Haralson; 2 brothers, Thomas Haralson (Nelcenia), of Arrington, TX., Michael Haralson (Altalisia), of Powders Springs, GA.; sisters in-law, Janice Cunningham (Aaron), of Mobile, AL., Gwendolyn Flowers (John), of Cleveland Heights, OH., Adrien McDavid, of Flower Mound, TX.; his beloved nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Friday, at 12:30 P.M.

Whether it was the old juvenile court building or the new one, our office was next to each other. While talking we would yell to each other instead of picking up the phone or simply walking to the other's office. We even retired on the same day and remained friends afterward our probation officer days were over. Rest well Sir because your assignment in this life has been completed.
When I was the Chief Judge at the DeKalb County Juvenile Court, Mr.Haralson worked as a probation officer. He always conducted himself as a true professional who excelled in working with the youth who interacted with the Court.
Mr. Haralson will be missed.

Lawrence and I went to Drake University back in the early 70's... I always remember Lawrence having a smile on his face and a positive nature about himself..that I admired.I also admired his dedication to the many youth lives that he touched throughout his professional career..My condolence to Lawrence family and loved ones... as Lawrence truly will be miss..Wayne (Boxx)Ford

Lawrence was in my chemistry class taught by Mr. Strong at LMHS 1970. We had so much fun mixing stuff up that Mr. Strong threatened to throw us out and give us an F. We settled down and to my amazement, we both passed the class. I will always remember you playing basketball and winning a championship. RIP Mr. Haralson.
