Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Leathia Mae Jackson of Decatur, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 11:00 AM at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Avenue, SE, Atlanta. Remains will be placed in state at 10:00 AM. Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Pastor, will serve as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Sims Chapel Baptist Church, 61 Sims Chapel Road, Oxford, Georgia 30014.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted children, Bobby (Kia) Perry and Erica (Michael) Parks; grandchildren, Jalissaya Heard, Xavier Perry, Kiva (Shalamar) Walker, Mikayla Parks, and Alycia Parks; siblings, Marie Norrington, Fareda Abdul-Hakim, Gloria (Charles) Gilstrap, and Marvin (Hilda) Jackson; The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10:00 AM.

My prayer is that God will give you comfort, peace and strength during your time or sorrow.I will never forget how she often prayed with and for me during my time of battling cancer. I will always remember her love she had for me. Rest well my love in the arms of Jesus.
