Reverend James L. Etchison, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Washington Memorial Gardens, Decatur, GA. Ms. Murphy leaves to cherish, 5 children, Dexter J. Favors, Lorenzo Favors, Eric Favors (Debra), Marlys Favors Byrd (Reggie), Aundrea Favors; 8 grandchildren, 1 brother, Charles Guffie; 1 sister, Cynthia Wilburn; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Mother we share a lot these last years with you and your great-granddaughter Kennedi and I watch you for many years be this great woman of God. You've taught me to be the woman that I am today how to love how to share and be obedient to God's word I will truly miss you just seeing that smile on your face as I walk into the room the talks that we had and shared and just knowing that you were okay but I love you God will give me the strength how to be able to stand with him so I love you may God have you in his bosom and I know pop was standing at the gate waiting on you

Mama I will continue to honor you by being the woman you raised me to be and passing your wisdom on to my daughter whom you adored and is so very proud of.
