It hardly seems real, even as I type this. You had an amazing gift of letting everyone feel like a close friend. You were full of jokes and always had me cracking up. To my brother, I want to thank you for so many years of laughter and love. We spent years raising our children (Blake, Ivan, and Taylor) on those baseball fields together. We were loyal to one another in hostile territories as we fought for our boys to get what they deserved. Thank you for being a sounding board, as I hope I was the same for you. Now God has called you to rest. Rest my brother.

To Blake and Taylor, continue to love and honor God because he gave you a dad that loved you dearly.

Mareio is the only tax preparer I've had since I moved to GA. A very smart, professional, and yet, very humorous at times. He used to say, "get in where you fit in" for the late clients like me. I know God will welcome a big heart like Fraley....and yes, he's getting in heaven where he will fit in amongst the other 😇 Angels. FLY HIGH MAREIO. 🙏

Grateful for the joy shared at Blake and Liz's wedding and the warmth with which Mareio welcomed our daughter into his family. He will be missed. May he rest in God's eternal peace. Rick and Sabrina Hellsten

Mareio, I've known you since 2016, and you have always been such a great person. You've poured into so many people and helped so many lives, including mine in countless ways. Thank you for making the past 10 years of knowing you an absolute joy. I met you here in Georgia, and from the very beginning, you were nothing short of amazing. From the trips, the generosity to my family, the countless meals and outings, to the visits and the time you spent with my daughter and me, I appreciate you more than words can express. You were truly a pillar in the community. Decatur strong, through and through. I am deeply saddened by how sudden this is, but I will always love and appreciate you. Thank you for everything you've done and for the impact you've made. Rest in power.

Mareio was a consummate business advisor and a friend. We still have not come to grips with this. Mareio was the epitome of Black Excellence. He will be sorely missed. Our deepest and sincerest condolences to his family and closest friends.

Fraley, what really can I say because there is so much to say as we have done so much together but it truly has been a blessing to know you, work along side you and love you like my brother.. I am totally devastated to hear of Mareio's passing. He has done my taxes for years and I considered him a friend. I can hear him now, 'girl, when are you doing your taxes?' I was looking forward to seeing him at Martha's Vineyard this summer and meeting his beautiful family. Rest in peace my friend...until we meet again.
