Ms. Trice was a phenomenal educated well respected woman. I had the opportunity to coach her beautiful daughter Ariana at Arabia Mountain High School. Anything the girls needed altered or done Ms. Trice took care of it with no problem. She was a very supportive parent. Not just with her own, Ariana, but for all the dancers. I can not thank her enough. Ariana we are praying for you and your family. You know I'm always here for no matter if we talk everyday or not. A beautiful service and may Ms. Trice get her rest. Ms. Trice was one the sweetest most sweetest people I knew, her knowledge on given subject blew my mind. After moving here from Baltimore, Maryland this was the first program that gave me hope that Georgia wasn't so bad. She exposed us to do so much. She was tough but she meant well. Without her guidance I wouldn't be as confident in my leadership abilities and capabilities. She always saw potential. And always went the extra mile for everyone around her. She taught me so many things but the greatest gift she gave me was helping me identify my passion for service and helping others. Ms. Trice I will continue to make you so proud. My deepest condolences go to Ariana and her family! Rest Well! Imani Williams

My name is Rev. Phillip Crenshaw. Ms. Trice worked with my mother Edna at the UGA DeKalb Extension Service for many years. I would consider Ms. Trice as an auntie. She pretty much helped to raise me to be an adult. She was so straight-forward, great sense of humor, and was a disciplinarian. She will be missed greatly. Praying for God's comfort to Arian and her entire family!
My Condolences to the Family, Marie and I met as Members of SSMBC and The Christian Women In Action Ministry. As a part of my wedding in the 80's which also was her birthday, she made and gave me as a gift, my wedding reception dress, so like her always giving. Rest In Heaven, my friend. Elder Gerry Daniels
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of dear Marie. She and I worked together at DeKalb Extension where she shared her many talents. Always professional, always ready to achieve, always committed to make the best better - she left her mark and will be missed. Pat Bruschini
To the Cherry and Trice families: We were blessed to have Marie in our lives for 66 years. She was a beacon that illuminated all of our lives. Tonight as I listened to all the tributes given to her from the Dekalb 4-H group during a virtual memorial service I was overwhelmed to hear all the lives that were touched by Marie. Let us commit ourselves to be better, to love more openly, and to vow to carry on the legacy that Marie has left. Love and Best Wishes for each of you from Uncle John
I remember all of the good times we had, and how much of impact you had on my life at young age through 4-H. Without your guidance I wouldn't be in the position I'm in today with her guidance and love. My condolences go out to Arianna and the family. ππΏβ€οΈ Malikh Williams

As a former Georgia 4-H'er, I am not sure I would be able to imagine a state 4-H event without Marie Trice. She had a personality that was larger than life and she cared deeply about the success of all children.
My love and sympathy to Ariana and the family. I worked with Marie at DeKalb Cooperative Extension. She was a very special and firm but loving person. May the Almighty God give the family strength to endure the loss of Marie. Carolyn McDonald-Nelson
