A day hasn't gone by that I don't think of you. I laugh often about our hair cut days. Those were our special time together. I had really gotten so attached to you I just wanted to protect from anything and anyone. I read your program and look at your picture everyday still in disbelief that you are gone. I wanted so badly to speech on your homegoing day but didn't have the strength to stand there and look over at your casket. Uncle, I am so glad you were here at home amongst family and friends before God called you home. He allow us and you some memorable moments. Thank you God for giving us a little over three years with our uncle/brother/friend.
Love...Rest on with the Lord Your loving niece, Sherry Ann
I give God all the praise for touching Uncle Marion mind and soul and keeping him here until he decided to come back home with his family and love ones. I want to extend my sincere condolences to the entire family...he will be greatly missed.
People may forget what you said but not what you do by:Maya Angelou. Pitts was a loving and disciplined man. He provided security and was compassionate during the hardest times of my life. Pitts was always there for me especially being a father figure to my daughter Ebony. He was never afraid to tell her how he felt. I remember him lighting the fire of her curiosity as it pertained to education through being a example of consistency, discipline, and high expectations. Pitts will surely be missed. The principles of love he instilled in my family will never be forgotten. We love you Pitts and appreciate everything you imparted in us not only with words but your actions!!!
Love Sheila, Ebony, and family
You will be missed by all. Rest in peace. LOVE YOU.
