Obituary For Mary L. Lawrence

Homegoing Services for Ms. Mary Lee Lawrence, of Lilly, GA., will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Travelers Rest Baptist Church, 2112 Rex Rd., Morrow, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Arthur L. Powell, Pastor, Apostle Derrick Flanagan, of Christ Abundant Life International Ministry, Officiating. Interment, Washington Memorial Gardens, Decatur, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Thursday, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Ms. Lawrence is preceded in death by, her husband, Mr. Jimmy Lawrence; 1 son, Ray Anthony Lawrence, Sr.; her parents, Julia Mae, Frank Williams; 4 sisters & 1 brother.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 5 sons, Jimmie Lee Lawrence, Jr., Ronald Lawrence, Gregory Lawrence, Curtis Bernard Lawrence, Dexter Renard Lawrence; and a host of other loving relatives, extended family and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Friday, at 9:30 A.M.

She was a Blessing to me my family. Especially Nicholas and I. So many visits just to sit with you in front of the house or when I would call and we would catch up. We love you and miss you dearly. Over 40 years she was always the same gentle person I have always know.
