Celebration of Life Services for Ms. Mattie Jane Pearson, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Eastlake United Methodist Church, 2500 Hosea L. Williams Dr., Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Jesse L. Gordon, Pastor, Pastor Alexis Brookins, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Decatur, GA.
Ms. Pearson leaves to cherish her memories, 3 children, Felicia Hardy Collins, Melissa Jones, Frankie Pearson; 7 grandchildren, Earnest, Deonta, Ta'Quavious, Zion, Brandy, Willie, Jr., Frankie, Jr.; 1 great granddaughter, Kimani; 5 bonus children, 4 sisters, Dot Thomas (Hubert), Barbara Ann, Fannie Mae (Peggy), Pearlie Mae; 2 aunts, Liza, Maline; and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 9:30 A.M.

Rest in peace, my queen, I see you now dancing around the throne, making everybody happy, and as I always say you go girl. Well i think it has really real auntie I wish it wasn't true I felt like if I went out of town something was gonna happen an I tried not to go cause baby I would have been at the park with you turning up for DeeDee they said you was smiling as always and you kissed everybody and told them you loved them not knowing it would have been the last day they would see Ur lovely face. Were gonna miss ur smile and your cooking and ur trash talking auntie we love ya til we meet again watch over us and tell mama chris and my dad i missed them so much
