I am grieving today at the news of the loss of Michael. I considered him to be "a little brother". As we grew older, and our lives took us in different directions, those memories will forever remain special and unforgettable. Rest well, Michael. I am sending my love to Billy and Darnita and the rest of Michael's family.

Your kindness, laughter, and memories will always stay in my heart. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

I knew him and his father well in high school, and we both were employed by Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit ( in separate departments ) but he was always someone I admired and respected as well spoken person, who always seemed so humble, supportive and caring. I remember him on the high school football field back in the glory days of 1970, awesome. His children and wife has a lot to be thankful for. He was a great friend and man. God bless and comfort the Killian family.

Hello Poppy I know you may not remember me but I used to do your grandbaby's hair you would drop her off and hype her up when you pick her up you where sweet and kind. I know she will miss you dearly. I may be far from her and it's been a long while since I cut her bangs 🤗 I still think about her and wish her well. So she will be just fine! Rest well and you will be missed.

My condolescences to the family of Mr. Killian. He was such a joy to work with at DeKalb County Schools Transportation! He got me through some tough times with his humor and wit. A truly classy gentleman with the kindest heart. May he Rest in Peace.

Our mothers (Darlene and Audrey) were roommates at Spelman and our fathers (Archie and Herty) were friends from their Morehouse days. Our childhoods were full of cherished memories as our parents were family by choice. Rest in peace, my brother.

I first met Michael in 1985. He was my Manager in RSCC when I fist became a member of the Marta family. He was very instrumental in my development as a Train Controller. He will be deeply missed by the Marta family.
