Homegoing Services for Mother Iris Mosley Brooks, of Macon, GA., will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church, 1180 Bartlett St., Macon, GA., with her remains placed in repose at 12:00 NOON. Reverend Ronald G. Toney, Pastor, Reverend Charles Smith Hill, II, Officiating. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Macon, GA.

Mother Brooks leaves to cherish her loving memories, 1 daughter, Dr. Tami Blackmon (Zalmon); 2 grandsons, Dr. Jaron Blackmon, Chancellor Blackmon; 1 sister, Mrs. Carol Penn (Tommy); her niece, Dr. Akilah Heggs; 2 great nephews, Brandon Davis, Boston Lee; as well as a host of other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence in Macon Friday, at 11:30 A.M.
