Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Ivory Collins Shepherd, former First Lady of Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church, Decatur, GA., will be held Monday, August 28, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at The dReam Center Church of Atlanta, 2600 H.F. Shepherd Dr., Decatur, GA., with her remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. William Murphy, Lead Pastor, Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Senior Pastor of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, Officiating; Reverend Dr. E. Dewey Smith, of Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church (House of Hope Atlanta), Eulogist. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Sunday, August 27, 2023, 12:00 NOON until 7:00 P.M.
Mother Shepherd leaves to cherish her loving, wonderful memories, 2 children, daughter, Ivory S. Roberson, son, Van Hubert Shepherd; her dear grandchildren, Rev. Eric D. Hurst, Brian Ashley Hurst, Ivory Ellionne Roberson, Vanessa Sandrail Shepherd, Melody Murray, Baxter Murray; great grandchildren, Summer Ivory Hurst Parker, Candler Adams, Jermaine Pullins, Jr.; great-great grandchildren, Sage Parker, Willow Parker; and her great-grand puppy, Kobe Roberson; as well as a host of other loving relatives, extended family, church family, and close family friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Monday, at 10:00 A.M.
