Homegoing Celebration for Mother Mae Lois Farley, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Israel Missionary Baptist Church, 2071 Hosea L. Williams Dr., Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Christopher Campbell, Pastor, Reverend Derrick Kelly, Officiating. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA. Public Viewing will be held at the mortuary Friday, 12:00 NOON to 8:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 9:30 A.M.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have shared time with Mama Farley. Her family didn't just welcome me, they became my family. Our God is so intentional, and I know it was no coincidence that He placed me in the care of such a loving, family. Mama Farley embraced my daughter Kaidance as her own granddaughter, and that touched me deeply, especially after losing my own mother years ago. That kind of love is rare and incredibly special. I will miss her warm smile, the joy of celebrating her, and simply being in her presence. Her spirit lives on in all of us who were lucky enough to be loved by her.
Dear Cousins Portia, Jan, and family, I am so, so grateful for our brief time together this year. I am thankful for those moments to love on and talk to my precious Aunt Lois.
