Funeral Services for Mr. Franchot Bernard Chappel of Decatur, will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 815 Fox Street, N.W. with remains placed in repose at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Edwards as the Officiating Eulogist.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Teresa Chappel; daughters, Jazmine Chappel, Brandy Chappel; mother, Yvonne (James) Jewell; one sister, Tonya Chappel and other relatives and friends also survive. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday at 11:30 A.M.

Mr. Franchot this is so hard for me. I wanted so bad to help you and be that rock for you. I had just talked to you and you sounded so good and so positive. I don't know where the turn took and it crushed me. To your family we loved him so much at 488. He was our baby even though he was older. I will pray for your strength and that he watches over you. Love him and miss him already.
