Obituary For Nathaniel Wiley

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Nathaniel Wiley, of Covington, GA., will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Welcome Baptist Church, 581 Parker Avenue, Decatur, GA., with remains placed in repose at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Aaron Robinson, Pastor, Reverend Dr. William H. Gaither, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA. Public Viewing will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, 12:00 NOON until 8:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.

Mr. Wiley leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of forty-six years, Mrs. Gloria Tucker Wiley, of Covington, GA.; one daughter, Mrs. Shomonika L. Wiley-Stephens (James Antonio Stephens), of Decatur, GA; three adored grandchildren, Ms. Tatiana J. Turk, Mr. Antonio Nathaniel Stephens, both of Decatur, GA., and Ms. Jazmyne Stephens, of Stockbridge, GA; three sisters, Ms. Tracy Wiley, Ms. Sandra Wiley, both of Sandersville, GA., and Ms. Glenda Moss, of Augusta, GA.; and a host of other close relatives, church members, colleagues and countless friends, who were truly blessed to know him. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 11:30 A.M.

Our hearts are heavy. Nat meant so much to us. Our families have enjoyed so many great times together. Regardless of good days or stormy weather, Nat always kept us smiling with joy. What I will remember most is how much he loved Gloria. Most people do not get the chance to experience this type of love. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and still had a heart big enough to love all of us.
