Funeral Services for Pastor Tommy Lee Newson, of Villa Rica, GA., will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Sword of the Lord Church, 2810 Church St., East Point, GA., with remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. Overseer Roslyn Montgomery, Pastor, Pastor Carolyn Williams, Officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta. A Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, 5:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at the mortuary.

Pastor Newson leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Terrie Newson; loving daughters, Terika Newson, Jasmine Newson; siblings, Ruth Nash, Dorthy Smith, Joann Meadows, Gail Dawson (Clifford), Jerome Newson (Jackie), Michael Newson, Winfred Newson (Juanita); and a host of other relatives and friends. Tommy Was a Co-worker of mine. My Condolences to the Family during this difficult time. Tommy always had a Word from the Lord and always had a smile that lit up the room. Working with him for 20 or so years I am sorry for your loss. Great Man of God.
