Talk about how crazy life is....Working so much I distanced myself from my family and lost one of my most loved ones. I remember growing up my grandad thought me how to cook, how to be clean, how to be disciplined and above all how to be a man of God. It was just last week, I was telling myself...ok Kemone call your grandad check in on him, see if he want to go to a Braves game this year or something. Take time to spend time. Not a day goes by that I don't give him credit for something in my life. As a parent one of my favourite sayings of his is " You hear the radio?...No...that means I'm not playing then" lol I always talking about how much he means to me and how much I miss him. I only wish I could've told him that before getting this gut-wrenching news. I love you grandad and love all the rest of my family as well. Ya'll be easy. Keep it breezy, life is short. Live it showing love and spreading it. - Kemone P.

My dearest Uncle Bruh, you will be sorely missed. Your way of sharing humor and your antics have been second to none over the years, you've always made my stomach hurt, laughing so hard. And the good food that you loved to prepare... All I can say is that I am glad I took good notes. Take your Rest Unk, for it is well deserved. Give our loved ones who are waiting on you a Kiss for me. I will love you always. Its been a joy being your niece and you will be in my heart forever.

In thinking of Lorenzo Phillips -
Lorenzo and I came into each other's lives close to a decade ago, in a business soon to become a business personal relationship over the following years. As an individual, he was imbued with a feisty, but honest, kind and warm demeanor, and more than can be said about most, was an authentically good man. His passage will create a void and be felt by all who knew him. I was privileged to receive a call from him in December, to 'catch up', as we had not spoken in much too long a time. I will always remember that call, and Lorenzo with great warmth.
