Rhonda was a beautiful spirit. She was that close friend and sounding board that you didn't know you needed. As an educator, she was an advocate and mentor for the youth and aspiring young adults, uplifting them and touching them with her words of wisdom and encouragement. When she wasn't travelling, like her father, she enjoyed gardening. Along with many of her family members, Rhonda also shared the love and passion for creativity through her many beautiful timeless arts and craft pieces she made over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

To me, Rhonda Brown is "Auntie Rhonda". I never called her anything else. I never called her Aunt Rhonda or Rhonda, she's always been "Auntie Rhonda" to me. I'll always miss laughing on the telephone with "Auntie Rhonda" about all my wigs and playing dress up with all my different styles of clothes, makeup and props, just stuff leftover from cosmetology school. "Auntie Rhonda" thought my life was so much fun. When I would get sad Auntie Rhonda would make me feel better by saying, "Baby, I am the closest thing you have to a real mother you have left on this planet and I will always love you, and I will always be here for you". I am the closest thing to a mother now that my sister has passed away". "Mickey, I'm not trying to replace your mother; I'm only doing what my sister would have wanted. Your mother knew that you would take the loss of her much harder than your siblings". I'll never get over loosing my "Auntie Rhonda".
