Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Ruth Stovall, of Decatur, Georgia will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, 11:00 AM at Bethel Original Freewill Baptist Church (next door to the mortuary), 1890 Second Avenue, Decatur, Victor C. Speakman, Pastor, Minister Sheleata Reed, Officiating and Eulogist. Remains will be placed instate at 10:00 AM. Interment Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood. The family will receive friends at the mortuary, Friday, January 16, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Mother Stovall is survived by her loving and devoted children, Gary Abbott, Shelia Stovall and Sandra Stovall; grandchildren, Carlos Jackson, Talecia Jackson, John Chambers III, and Jerdine Chambers; great grandchildren, Jayden Jackson and Jamya Jackson, sister, Barbara Wright; nieces, Debra Porter, Sharon Wright-Dyson, and Wanda Hill, and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at her home on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
