Obituary For Ruthie Mae Robinson-Holsey

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruthie Mae Holsey, will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Reverend Henry Lee Holsey, Jr., Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood.

Ruthie Mae Robinson-Holsey was born one of sixteen children in Lee County on May 14,1941. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. Rufus and Bessie Robinson.

She was educated at New Chokee School in DeSoto, GA. She confessed Christ as her Saviour at early age and became a member of Mt. Able Baptist Church in DeSoto, GA.

Ruthie was joined in marriage to Sammy Lee Holsey, Sr. and to this union they had six children.

For numerous years, Ruthie provided services in the dry cleaning and housekeeping industries. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and most of all, she loved her puzzles.

Ruthie was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She leaves fond memories that will forever be cherished by her children, Samuel Holsey, David Holsey, Ruby Beasley, and Stephanie Holsey. Willie Holsey and Robert C. Holsey proceeded her in death. She will also be loved by her surviving 6 siblings, 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 10:00 A.M.
