So much love and acceptance Sis. Val freely gave. She is was so easy to love. We shall truly miss her physical presence among us. She will forever be in our hearts. I thank God that I got to meet and engage her for a little while. It is well with her soul! Praying for peace and continued strength for us ALL.

I remember back on September 5, 1977; which was Labor day, we saw each other at Grady hospital. Both of us were about to bring life into the world. We both had a boy. That was a very blessed day! Someone as special as Val was to me will never be forgotten. Val was a great sister-in-law, she was caring, kind & loving. I will miss our phone conversations the visits when our family would come to Atlanta. Betrum, my heart is with you now and for the days to come. I love you Aunt Michelle!

If you were fortunate enough to know Valencia then consider yourself blessed. She was a great "big sister" to my sisters and myself.
