Obituary For Willie D. Thornton
Homegoing Services for Mr. Willie Davis Thornton, of Atlanta, will be held Monday, February 27, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1879 Glenwood Avenue, Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend William E. Fliipin, Sr., Senior Pastor, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Sunday, from 12:00 NOON until 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Thornton leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Mattie C. Thornton; 2 children, daughter, Tamara T. Ezzard, son, Mark A. Thornton; as well as a host of other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Monday, at 10:00 A.M.
