Homegoing Services for Willie Tyrone Bankston, Sr., of Atlanta, will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025; 10:30 A.M. at Vinings First Baptist Church, 4182 South Cobb Drive Symrna, Georgia 30080. Reverend Donald Thomas, Pastor and Reverend Stanley Brownlee, Officiant. Entombment Lincoln Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, May 9 at the mortuary from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
He leaves behind a large circle of family and friends who will cherish his memory deeply. This includes his wife, Parthenia; three children, Kecia (Trey), Jason (Jodi), and Willie, Jr. (Jamie); grandchildren, Sevehn, Jason, Paige, Emily, and Gabriel; brother, Larry Bankston; sisters-in-law, Betty and Shirley (Calvin); nieces, Sharese, Pier, and Montice; nephew, Donald, Jr.; special cousin, Voncile; a host of other cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
