I met Alma through my oldest sister Carrie Vason , they were very good friends. She helped me get hired on as a sub teacher with Montgomery Housing Authority Day Care. She was my supervisor and she was as friendly and lovely as she looked! Condolences to the family and friends of Alma. So sorry for y'all's loss.ππππΎβ€οΈ SanJanetta Williams & Family

Love you and thank you, Soror Pamela Holt.
Truly an Ivory Beyond the Wall. I have been blessed by her presence coming in to young adulthood as Miss Fashionetta Cotillion and Debutante Pageant contestant during my senior year in high school at Sidney Lanier. Mrs. Alma Whittle/Soror Whittle was one of my sponsors that inspired me to do unthinkable and was not ashamed to let 1991 Ebony Fashion Fair attendees in the audience know that I am a lovely and vivacious person. Truly appreciate πher and Soror Vera Thompson for it.
Mr. Danny, please let your family know for me and from me that I am sorry for your lost. The last time I was Alma she was subbing at JD and she was waiting for someone to come do something for her car. ALWAYS WELL DRESSED and WELL SPOKEN. I know that I DON'T need to tell you this but your aunt loved you and was proud of you. She took joy in meeting people who knew her family. That is what a "GOOD NAME" is all about. Sincerely, Ms. Barbara....I'm sure TU will have a lot to tell her about Mr. Dan and Mutdear.
Such a beautiful lady. I met her when she taught at E.D. Nixon where a lasting bond was made. To the family of the late Alma Whittle , May God give you comfort at this time.
Much love to you, Alma

Condolences to Alma's love ones. I met her many years ago while working at Gayfer's. She was one of my favorite customers, always very friendly and attractively well groomed. She always presented herself as a lady and had a positive attitude. May the family find comfort in knowing she's safely home.
