My heartfelt condolences and prayers for Alonza Ferguson's family.
I had the honor of meeting Alonzo ("Fire") in 1971 when we were both students at Troy State University. He was like a "big brother" to me and we have remained lifelong friends. I will miss his phone calls and our discussions about Troy sports and grandchildren. Rest in Peace, brother! My condolences to his family! With love, Gwen Cephas Mosley and Richard Mosley
I will miss the conversations and words of encouragement. Rest in peace. David Burkette

Note with red candle lit is from his dear friend Chuck Ashley
Alonza and I have been friends for almost 20 years. I visited him for almost 20 years at Tyson Manor, which is now Diversacare. He was a great friend, we were close in age, and shared a love for family, sports and the Lord Jesus. He was my brother in Christ—Thinking of the family and praying for comfort and a treasure chest of great memories. I will miss him as you will but look forward to a joyful reunion in heaven with him one day!
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
