Althea T. Thomas of Montgomery, AL, passed away on November 20, 2025.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, 454 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104, Rev. Ronnie Jones, Interim Pastor. Pastor Terry Ellison of New Life COGIC will officiate and deliver the eulogy.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home, followed by the Omega Omega Service of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Mrs. Thomas will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

.Mrs. Thomas was my critic instructor at Lab High. She was an extremely kind, talented and Christian lady. She influenced many individuals; I will always have fond memories. She was also music teacher to my daughter and granddaughter. Rest in peace. Many will remember you for what your accomplishments.
Mrs. Thomas was my former piano teacher at House of the Arts. She was stern, talented and much appreciated for the gifts she shared with her community.
