Obituary For Alvin Jerome Armstrong
Alvin Jerome Armstrong, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on August 13, 2025. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 164 Wade Street, Montgomery, AL with Pastor Lisa Winston officiating. Interment will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Armstrong will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church.

My sincerest condolences to the family and close friends of Alvin Armstrong. The friendship which ran through the Armstrong family and my own family were remarkable as there appeared to be a matching Armstrong family member for each of my siblings. We were great family friends with broken hearts at the loss of Alvin's brother, Dr. W. Clifford Armstrong just a few months ago.
