Obituary For Anthony Quinn Edwards
Anthony Quinn Edwards, 56, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Montgomery, AL. He was born on December 7, 1967, in Hempstead, New York. Anthony was an unapologetic person who embraced the circumstances of his life. He lived, laughed, and loved all who accepted him as he was. Throughout his life, Anthony battled mental illness and later developed physical health issues. Despite his struggles, he left behind cherished memories and lots of laughter.
Anthony is survived by Willie James and Andrea Edwards of Montgomery, AL, Stephen Raynard Edwards of Montgomery, AL, two devoted cousins Viola Johnson and Roosevelt Davis of Montgomery, AL, and a host of relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Isabella Edwards, and three brothers, Edgar Edwards, Rodney Edwards, and Timothy Edwards. Anthony attended Montgomery, AL public schools and confirmed his Christianity later in life, joining Holt Street Church of Christ in Montgomery, AL.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 9504 US Highway 331, Montgomery, AL 36105 with Pastor Harlan F. Cummings officiating. The staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
