Obituary For Dea. Willie Wilson Barnes, Sr.

Deacon Willie Wilson Barnes, Sr., a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on September 5, 2026. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holt St. Memorial Baptist Church, 1870 S. Court Street, Montg., AL, 36104, with Pastor W. David McClung, DMin. officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Barnes will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
