Deacon Sidney Tolliver Williams, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on February 4, 2025. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1309 Edgar D. Nixon Avenue, Montgomery, AL, 36104, with Pastor Carl DeHaney officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Deacon Williams will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church.

My sincere condolences to the Williams family. I worked with and for Mr. Williams for 20 years, and he became a close friend and supporter of mine during many difficult times. I've missed seeing him over the past 10 years, since I've retired and moved from the Montgomery area, but we've kept in touch through Christmas cards. He will be missed by many. He was a fair and just man.
