Retired Lt. Colonel Edmond J. Collier passed away on December 6, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Metropolitan United Methodist Church, 3108 Rosa L. Parks Ave., 36105, with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, directed by the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is set for Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Collier will lie in repose at the church one hour before the service.
