Obituary For Effie Nell Johnson
Mrs. Effie Nell Johnson, a resident of Montgomery, AL, and formerly of Hope Hull, AL, passed away on November 4, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1716 Frederick Douglass Rd., Burkville, AL, with Pastor Eric E. Brown, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, with arrangements entrusted to E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson will lie in repose for one hour prior to the service at the church.
