I just found this notice today! Liz was my partner! When I left Extension, we lost touch, but the memory of her words have gotten me through some rough days. I am beyond hurt and sad that we lost touch.
My condolences to her family and I pray God's peace continues to comfort you in the days ahead.

Always ready with a smile or encouraging word, Liz was a delightful and wonderful colleague and friend. She changed many lives for the better and her legacy of love and caring for the families she served will live on.
My sincere sympathy goes out to the family. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Liz grew up next door to us on Hill Street. She was always a sweet, kind, and jovial child. Whenever our paths crossed on rare occasions, she still possessed the same attitude. The last time I saw Liz was at the Memorial Service of her sister Mary, where she spoke some wonderful and encouraging words. I know she will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Praying for the family and for Liz to rest peacefully in the bosom of Jesus.
My sincere condolences to the family. Praying that God will strengthen you during this time.
My heartfelt condolences to Mr. Larry, Michelle and the entire family. Mrs. Liz was a supreme figure of inspiration during our time together in EFNEP- Alabama Extension. Mrs. Liz was the beacon of hope and change to all those who she encountered. Her light, smile, and kindness will forever be missed but always remember.
I remember Elizabeth from McIntyre Elementary School. She lived on Hill St and I lived on Mill St. She was a sweet and kind spirit. Rest in paradise.
My deepest sympathy goes out to Larry, Michelle, and family. May God's blessings always be with you. Remember, God has you covered—keep the faith. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless and keep you, now and always. Lula
Sending sincerest sympathy to the Larry, Michelle, and Family. Liz poured her heart into Extension's Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) offering education and guidance to youth and adults, especially pregnant women and teens. May our God strengthen family and friends during this difficult time.

Liz always carried a torch of faith, hope and love no matter where she was. I always sat in her office to visit with her. She always had words of encouragement and support. Liz always made me laugh and always there for me as a new employee of Extension. I will truly miss her. Condolences to the family, close friends and Alabama Cooperative Extension employees who worked with Liz.
