John and I began our careers at the Veterans Administration on the same day. He was the kindest, most reverent person I've ever worked with. John touched countless lives, always treating everyone with a deep respect and dignity. The world has lost a great person in John. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family and friends. John, may you rest in peace, my friend.

I love you so much Uncle!!!! You were the closest ive had to my dad since 2012! I know 9/11 was a huge celebration with you both meeting again! My condolences to you all cousins if you need me I am here!
