To the Perdue family from the Robinson family our heartfelt condolences to your family
To the family, friends, and neighbors of Brother John Perdue,
We are deeply saddened to hear of John's homegoing. Yet, as we are reminded in Hebrews 9:27, there is an appointed time for each of us - and John has fulfilled his. May you find peace in knowing that God's promises are true, even in moments like these.
Please be encouraged knowing that you are in our prayers. We are lifting you up for strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.
I had the blessing of meeting John and his beloved wife, Shane, over 59 years ago through the Lawhorn family. From the very beginning, I can truly say I had never encountered a family more full of joy and fun to be around. Before long, through Sarah and my brother Hugh, our families became one - the Lawhorns and the Perdues - sharing countless memories together through both joyful and challenging times.
Through it all, one thing remains certain: God is ever-present. As it says in Nehemiah 8:10, "...for the joy of the LORD is my strength." May that joy continue to carry you, even now.
There have always been special and memorable moments surrounding John and Shane, and those memories will forever live on in our hearts.
With love, continued prayers, and deepest sympathy - be strong, and may God bless you all.
