Joseph J. Pettus, Sr., a resident of Montgomery AL, passed away on September 4, 2026, in McDonough, GA. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home, 1120 Bragg Street, Montgomery, AL, 36108, with Rev. Dr. Pennon Lockhart officiating. Interment will follow at Eastwood Cemetery, Montgomery, AL with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
