Ashlee King sent Serene Lily Basket for Larry McTier - June 25, 2025
I know Larry as a high school basketball legend in the city of Montgomery. Larry and Willie James made up the backcourt of Booker T. Washington High School. They were nicknamed the "Speed Twins". Larry was the left handed shooter. Never had a chance to meet him personally which I regret. I extend my deepest condolences to his family. All indications show that he was a positive person in society.
I worked with Larry for several years. Larry was quite a gentleman. Before, I really got to know him, he saw me get wet on a rainy day and the next thing I knew, he was handing me the most gorgeous umbrella, and he said to me "I never want to see you get wet again." I found out later, Larry bought gifts for many people and kept it a secret until it was time to give the gift. I will miss you, Larry! I genuinely will. 😢🙏✝
Larry also was laughing and smiling. He was a cutup. I have not know him that long. He will be missed around Jack Ingram. My thoughts and prayers go out the family and friends.
